Colorado Energy Office Large Building Decarbonization (LBD) Showcase Grant Program

The Colorado Energy Office (CEO) designed the Large Building Decarbonization (LBD) Showcase Grant to resource, accelerate, and share example solutions that cost-effectively reduce large commercial building emissions. Through this program, CEO will distribute $35 million to achieve emissions reductions in large buildings by funding projects that are able to achieve compliance with their Building Performance Colorado (BPC) emissions reduction target before their deadline or reduce emissions beyond their selected target.

 Eligible costs include planning, including electrical design and planning, mechanical design and planning, energy audit (min. ASHRAE Level 2); and implementation including electrification of space heating and water heating systems, installation of high efficiency HVAC electric equipment, and efficiency/electrification updates.
